Monte Verissimo

...

The Monte Verissimo house (110 square meters) is located on a large property with old trees, about 3 km away from the Atlantic, near a little village called Quelfes. From the terraces you have a nice view to the ocean and the island of Armona and Culatra. Built in 1918, the house has been lovingly restored and features comfortable and functional facilities.

Both bedrooms are on the 1st floor, one of them with a big terrace with garden and ocean view. The kitchen is functional and equipped for all necessities. Kitchen and living room are connecting rooms and are a nice place to spend time together. TV, DVD, WI-FI, stereo, books and board games are available. In the big bathroom you find a bathtub/shower, basin, toilet and washing machine. On the lower terrace is an old bread backing oven with BBQ and dining table. A beautiful tile stove (wood) heats the entire house even in the colder month of the year.

Bed linen, towels and kitchen towels are available, please bring your own beach towels. Toddler bed and chairs are at your disposal if necessary. All the beds have mosquito nets.

The area is calm. It is about 10 minutes away from the small town (10 minutes by car) called Olhão, which has a daily fish market and good restaurants. The beautiful beaches of the south Algarve can be found on the islands of Armona, Culatra, Faro and Tavira and are accessible by boat or even on foot. The islands are part of the nature reserve “Ria Formosa”. Some of the islands are connected and are perfect for long walks on the beach or to find some privacy. Snackbars and restaurants are also available.
